Jason Arthur, President
Jason was born and raised in Eastern, NC attending high school at West Carteret in Morehead City, NC and 4 years of College at East Carolina's Construction Management Program.
The majority of his 12 years of construction experience has come from working with one of the nation's largest homebuilders, Drees Homes and one of the largest commercial contractors in the southeast, Precision Walls. Working his way up the ladder from assistant superintendent, to superintendent, to project manager has enabled Jason to learn to be productive in scheduling and estimating as well as job site productivity and quality control.
Jason's family includes his wife Sarah, son Jack, and black lab Belle. Jason is an avid outdoorsman fishing the coastal waters of the Neuse River and playing golf at the Emerald Country Club.
Leah Flowers, Selection Coordinator
With over seven years of design experience, Leah Flowers joined Jason Arthur construction in 2009. She graduated with honors from East Carolina University with a BS in Interior Design in 2003 then moved back to New Bern, her hometown. While working at her first job designing cabinetry for kitchens and bathrooms, she realized her passion for residential construction. “I’ve always loved seeing the process of ideas coming together into something tangible; something not just a house, but a Home.”
As the selections coordinator, she’s the liaison between the homeowners and the vendors. With over five years of product and sales experience, she is knowledgeable in new and upcoming products and home trends. She assists Jason in the day to day tasks of working up quotes, following up with the homeowners and organizing ideas and selection decisions to help make the building process accurate and efficient.
Her father, now a Marine veteran, was stationed at Cherry Point, Havelock in 1995-2001. Her parents loved New Bern so much that they decided to retire and stay. Leah considers New Bern her hometown and loves it for the historical charm, recreation and family environment. She currently lives in New Bern with her husband, Sean, and their daughter, Charlotte Marie.
